Capturing Love Amidst the Storm: Niamh & Peter's Unforgettable Wedding

Niamh and Peter celebrated their Galway wedding on the same weekend that Storm Kathleen arrived on Ireland’s west coast. Despite the wind and rain, the atmosphere that morning was relaxed, energetic, and full of laughter. Niamh’s bridal party brought incredible energy to the preparations and set the tone for the day ahead.

Their ceremony took place at the historic Claddagh Church in Galway, surrounded by family and friends. Afterwards, we headed into the city for a short filming and photography session on Quay Street. The strong wind and rain could easily have changed the plans, but Niamh, Peter, and their bridal party embraced the weather and enjoyed every moment.

The celebrations continued at the Connemara Coast Hotel, overlooking Galway Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Between showers, we made our way to the hotel’s seaside gazebo to capture Niamh and Peter together. The dramatic waves, changing light and stormy coastline created a distinctive backdrop for their wedding photographs and film.
